U.S. Customs
Overview:
Let’s get it out of the way right now, deciding to work for CBP was a decision not taken lightly. I believed that the project mission of hiring a more diverse group of agents, officers and pilots was a noble one and I was eager to help make a difference for the government agency. My team was tasked with creating several recruitment videos for various sectors within the organization and having just come off my first shoot, I was ready to apply what I had learned. The output was four thirty-second videos seen below.
Why I included it in my portfolio of work:
This was my first long-term video shoot which consisted of multiple locations spanning several states and four weeks on the road with another week of editing and cut downs. This was also the first time I was traditionally paired with an amazing copywriter and being able to bounce ideas off one-another on the fly was a great experience as I jumped back into the world of advertising. Having to juggle so many moving pieces while also delegating responsibilities and being ok with “letting go” of certain tasks was a huge step in my journey to becoming a true creative director.
