I don't have answers to your issues. Those are yours to find and apply. BUT, life is definitely what you make it. Sometimes (as cliche as this is) all it takes is assertiveness.

the only big stressor of marriage is planning the wedding. that blows. the rest is pretty much like it is before you're married, except you say 'wife' instead of 'girlfriend'. it's one less syllable, leaves more time for other things. plus, it's a major pain in the ass to break up when you're married. so when you come home late, stewed to the gills, and your pants full of shit you don't have to be quite as concerned about her simply stepping over your vomit and walking out.
