What I learned today

Public bus drivers in VA sit in Recaro seats. I don't even have recaro seats in my car.

The DC metro isn't anywhere near as nice as the NYC subway. It's cold, dark and boring.

The elvators in my new office building have TV's in them. Beat that.

In my travels today, I had the pleasure of listening to a little chinese man sing to everyone in mandorin on the subway. It was quite beautiful. Then I saw 5 girls run into eachother and I got to hear them squeal like little chickens because one of the girls had gotten engaged. It was cute to watch them all crowd around the ring. I guess girls really do that.

I got a job. After four days of being unemployed. Four.

I had espresso that wasn't from Starbucks, it was from a bodega. It actually tasted like espresso. I ordered it in spanish.

There was a fire on 19th street. A bike girl said hi to me. I had a great lunch with my girlfriend. I'll be working for real clients. I'll be able to concept. I won't be a wrist.

I am going to be happy.
